- AI-written answers

Paid, ad-free search engine where you can block or boost sites, with AI summaries and an assistant built in.
Kagi is a search engine you pay for. In return there are no ads, and the company says your searches aren't used to build an advertising profile. The idea is that when the customer pays, the results don't need to serve advertisers.
Its most used feature is control over results. You can block sites so they never appear, lower or raise sites in your rankings, and create lenses that limit a search to a set of sources such as forums or academic sites. Quick Answer writes a short summary with citations when you end a query with a question mark, and the Kagi Assistant gives access to several AI models with search built in.
Kagi suits people who search a lot and are tired of ads and spam pages. Try it before paying for a long plan, and check how its results compare with your current engine on the topics you search most.
Not enough info yet on free to use or free plan, developer API, mobile app. Check the tool's own site.
